Andrew Lai

Andrew is the Managing Director of Boab AI Australia's first artificial intelligence scaleup investment program powered by Artesian.

Prior to joining Boab/Artesian, Andrew was the Ventures Director at Deakin University helping to manage the university's portfolio of spinoff companies.

Andrew was the founder of FinTech Melbourne, one of Australia's largest FinTech organisations and the Managing Director and Co-Founder of SproutX, Asia Pacific's first dedicated agtech accelerator and VC Fund.

Andrew also spent 7 years at MLC where he was Risk and Analytics Manager.

Andrew completed a Bachelor of Arts/Engineering (Hons) majoring in political science and software engineering from the University of Melbourne.
