Kurt Tan

Kurt is a Managing Director based in NY and is a seasoned investment professional with a strong technology background. He is responsible for fixed income analysis and portfolio management as well as carbon research and measurement for North America. Since joining Artesian in 2005, Kurt has held a variety of roles, some in newly created positions and/or businesses. These roles include product development of the firm’s carbon impact product, analysis, trading, and technology. Prior to Artesian, Kurt designed and implemented full-stack enterprise trading applications for Barclays Capital. Kurt earned an MBA from the Leonard N. Stern School of Business at New York University with an emphasis in Entrepreneurship and Finance and a BSE in Computer Engineering from the University of Michigan. In his spare time, Kurt enjoys exploring the great outdoors and experimenting with sourdough bread recipes.
